  • Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a collaborative and confidential process that provides a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. In individual therapy, the therapist and client establish a strong rapport and collaborate to address the client's specific concerns. Whether the therapeutic journey spans several months, years, or just a few sessions, the focus remains on your unique needs.

During each session, which typically lasts 50-60 minutes, we set goals together, but the time is primarily yours to explore what feels most pressing. It could involve discussing recent events or delving into deeper, long-term aspirations, such as finding balance in your emotional responses when someone you deeply care about is upset with you.

My primary objective as a therapist is to empower you and enhance your confidence in navigating life. Sometimes, as progress is made, you may feel ready to venture forward on your own for a while. I'm here to support you as you learn to crawl, then walk, and eventually watch you run. Initially, I'll be there beside you like a guiding presence, but as you achieve milestones and checkpoints, we can choose to meet intermittently for further guidance and support.

  • EMDR Therapy

EMDR therapy, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a highly effective and evidence-based approach used to address trauma, distressing memories, and a wide range of emotional challenges. This specialized therapy integrates elements from various treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and bilateral stimulation techniques.

During EMDR sessions, you will be guided to focus on distressing memories or experiences while engaging in specific eye movements, sounds, or taps, which stimulate bilateral brain activity. This process facilitates the reprocessing of traumatic or distressing memories, helping to reduce emotional distress and negative beliefs associated with those experiences.

EMDR therapy aims to promote healing and create positive shifts in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. As a trained EMDR therapist, I provide a safe and supportive environment, guiding you through the EMDR process to help you process and integrate past experiences, foster resilience, and achieve greater emotional well-being.

  • Telehealth

Telehealth, also known as teletherapy or online therapy, is a convenient and secure way to access therapy services remotely. Through telehealth, you can receive the support and guidance you need from the comfort of your own home or any location with an internet connection. Using secure video conferencing or telecommunication platforms, telehealth appointments allow you to engage in therapy sessions with your therapist in a confidential and private manner. Telehealth offers a flexible alternative to in-person sessions, eliminating the need for travel and providing accessibility to therapy regardless of your location. With telehealth, you can benefit from the same level of professional care, evidence-based interventions, and compassionate support as you would during in-person sessions. It's a convenient and effective way to prioritize your mental health and well-being while maintaining flexibility in your busy schedule.

  • In Person

In-person therapy provides a traditional and personal approach to therapy services. With in-person therapy, you have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with your therapist in a comfortable and dedicated office space. In-person sessions allow for direct interaction, body language observation, and a tangible connection with your therapist. This mode of therapy can create a sense of safety, trust, and immediacy in the therapeutic process. It offers a space where you can openly express your thoughts, emotions, and concerns while receiving real-time feedback and support. In-person therapy allows for a deeper level of engagement and collaboration between you and your therapist, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance. Whether you prefer the familiarity and human connection of in-person sessions or have specific needs that are best addressed through face-to-face interaction, in-person therapy provides a personalized and comprehensive approach to your mental health and well-being.
